TRS Kalonji (Black Onion Seed) 100gm

Black onion seed is not to be confused with cumin or caraway. The dark black onion seed has a slightly marjoram aroma and an earthy nutty flavor similar to sesame seeds. Kalonji is often called onion seed even though it has nothing to do with onions. TRS Kalonji (onion seed) can be used for all kinds of oriental dishes. It is an important component of chutneys and vegetable dishes. Usually, however, kalonji is used with Turkish flatbread or Indian naan bread.
